Summary of program and employer expectations:

The Lerner-Delaware Early Career Co-op Program offers rising sophomore and junior business students a one-year, paid internship or co-op from June/September 1 to May 31, with flexible start dates and hours. Students can work up to 40 hours per week in summer and winter (January) and up to 20 during fall and spring. Employers will receive dedicated support from Lerner Career Services throughout the hiring process and the co-op experience. Please refer to the detailed Employer FAQs here.

We will work with you directly on the hiring process but here is a sample recruitment timeline:
- February 2025: Post job description
- February - March 2025: Collect and review resumes
- March-May 2025: Conduct interviews and finalize job offers
- June or September 2025: Program start
